Pigtails

I love that Julie's hair is long enough to have pigtails now.  Everyday that she sits still long enough, that's what we do with her hair.

April Fun

It has been a whole month since I last wrote.  What a full month it has been.  Arek turned 27!  We celebrated with a YUMMY mouse-filled, ganauche-covered chocolate cake (although it didn't turn out to be as visually pretty as I was hoping, the taste was amazing!) and homemade cookies-n-cream ice cream, as well as dinner out and a trip to the movies. 

Also, I fianlly got curtains made for Julie's room.  I think they turned out pretty cute and I really had fun sewing them.  Julie really loved the fabric - she kept calling out "bubbles!" whenever she saw it.

Julie has been busy being Julie.  We have been playing LOTS outside: walking, playing on many different play grounds, drawing with chalk, blowing bubbles.  It's been a blast.  We are both sporting very nice summery tans... can't wait until it warms up a bit more and we can go swimming as well.  I always forget to take pictues outside, but here's what she does inside: 

 She LOVES play-acticing with dolls recently.  They come everywhere with her, and she loves for me to wrap them up in blankets and she rocks them, both on and off her horse
