Adventures of a Weekend

Our bottom kitchen drawer is filled with tupperware. Julie loves this drawer… loves to open it, pull out bowls and lids, and then, occassionally, this happens:

And she can’t get out.

Saturday was an adventure. We got a flat tire, and discovered that we also had a flat spare, and ended up having to buy 4 new tires. However, we were able to go to the temple. That was great… and there were lots of people getting married, which brought back lots of memories since it’s nearly our 3^rd anniversary. Julie got to be babysat by my parents. Since it was a gorgeous day outside they took her swinging and also filled up their kiddie pool for her. She was reluctant about the water at first, but eventually she discovered that playing in the pool was pretty fun.

Sunday, Jenny and Todd blessed Lilly. It was a lovely blessing, and was a lovely day to spend with family. Lindsey was in town with Liam and Ethan. It was so much fun to see how much they’ve grown. Julie thought it was awesome to tryto keep with Ethan and he taught her some new tricks, including crawling up the stairs. They had a pretty fun time. Julie was very pleased with her new trick.
